Construction City Review
Construction City is a 2D construction-based puzzle game, which allows you to sit behind the controls of 12 different heavy machines and vehicles, including forklifts, cranes, bulldozers, trucks, and others. Game requires a lot of patience, precision, thinking, and creativity. However, it is very intuitive and easy to play, and quite addictive as well. Level editor that allows you to create completely new, fully customized levels, and share them with the playing community, gives this game an amazing additional value and limitless potential.
Your task as a player is to use some of 12 different machines and vehicles, such as cranes, forklifts, trucks, excavators and others – in order to complete various construction-based puzzles and advance through different levels and game worlds. Game is done in 2D, but it looks very nice, perfectly designed and surprisingly life-like, considering that it is only a 2D game. The physics in the Construction City feels very realistic. Most levels require you to switch between different machines in order to be able to solve the puzzles, and that makes the game even more interesting. As you progress through different levels, the building-based puzzles grow more and more complex, demanding, and sometimes even frustrating. This game will bring you to the edge of your nerves on many occasions, but you will continue playing anyway, because it’s pretty addictive. Each machine has different controls and features, which make things even more complex and challenging. Controls are very intuitive and customizable, which is another great plus for the game. Sound effects are also quite good, and complete the great overall impression.
Construction City consists of 6 different worlds, with 21 levels each, totaling to 126 different levels. However, don’t be surprised if you download the game after reading this review, only to realize that there are not 126, but 150, or 200 levels – developers are working very hard, constantly adding various improvements and new levels. And if 126 levels is not enough for you, build new levels yourself! Construction City features fantastic level editor, which not only allows you absolute freedom in creating your own new levels, but also provides you the opportunity to share those levels with other Construction City players, as well as to play the levels they have created. That gives this game incredible potential! This feature, along with the new levels frequently arriving to Google Play store, gives us a reason to believe that the Construction City may become one of the most popular and widely played android games.
If you like games of this type, you will most definitely like the Construction City. Nice looking, intellectually demanding, with great physics and many different machines available, this game will guarantee you many hours of entertainment, and many sleepless nights spent on your pocket-sized construction site. If Constructions city fully utilize its potential, it could grow into one of the biggest android games ever.
